Both airports are pretty easy to find flights to. Do this road trip outside of the summer season if you want a break from the hot summer heat. Here is a day-by-day guide of the best Lowcountry Road Trip.![]() Arrive in Atlanta. Day 2: AtlantaSpend the morning touring Atlanta and some famous spots, including Centennial Olympic Park, Fox Theatre, the Buckhead neighborhood, and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site. In the afternoon, head to the Georgia Aquarium or the World of Coca-Cola. Enjoy dinner at Pittypat’s Porch, a restaurant serving traditional Southern food since the 1960s.
